Part time photographer for the Merced Sun-Star Newspaper, Atwater Signal
Newspaper and others. It was great working with so many people in the Merced,
Modesto and Fresno areas.
Hooked up with Mr. Don Bean Theater Manager of Warnors in Fresno, CA. Became
House Photographer for The Warnors Theater and Star Palace. Special thanks to
Don Bean for allowing me to be part of the music of Fresno from 1981 to 1986.
Rockin' On Film, became my passion in the photography world and all aspects of
music and rock concerts throughout California back in the 1980's. What a time to
be a concert photographer, with all the new music in the 80's.
History of ROF's Photography
first 35mm SLR camera Petri FTII, 50mm and 135mm lenses. During the Navy and
being stationed at Subic Bay, PI., bought my Hooked up with some local is where I
was introduced to B&W Film and development.
My first Kodak 110 back in 60's, taking photographs of my family and next door
friends. Later I got a old 120 film camera for Drag Racing at Fontana, CA. and
taking shoot some guys playing music in the garage's down the street in Colton,

Started attending Merced College as a Pre-Engineering studies and added
Photography as my minor in Arts.
Graduated with AA in Photography and Outstanding Student Award in 1980.
Starting part timing Photography Class Instructor & guest speaker.
Up-graded my 35mm camera equipment to Canon AE-1 with many FD Lenses. My
best lenses became 50mm 1.4 & 85mm 1.8.
Up-graded camera to Canon F1-N, FD 24mm 2.0, 200mm 2.8 and 85mm 1.2 85mm
1.8. Wow AWESOME EQUIPMENT!!!!
